This necklace is unique for its Egyptian Revival design, the detail and its condition. The necklace appears to be on its original strand with blue thread that is knotted in-between each bead. The necklace is still sturdy along the back and sides but it has loosened and thinned with wear at the rectangular pendant. It is still attached but if you want to wear the piece you will probably need to get this part strengthened or re-strung. The glass beads are made to simulate Lapis and each bead measures just under 5mm in diameter. The pendants have gold contrasting designs that are identical on both sides of the piece. There is a minimal amount of wear to the gold paint for this type of piece - I would say the paint is 85-90% intact. There are a few tiny chips and dings to the glass on the pendants along the edges and corners but nothing significant or distracting. The molded designs are still very fresh and distinct. One pharaoh pendnat is darker in color than the other which is probably an original manufacturing difference and not from wear/age. Overall this is a striking and detailed, Art Deco Egyptian Revival glass necklace, that is from the 1930\'s and is in good condition.
