This style is attributed to the Neiger Brothers and is often referred to by collectors as a \"lipstick Neiger\" due to the suspended cylindrical glass bead set in the pendant. I have seen in it different colored glass and gold gilt brass. This is the first example I have seen in silver plate. The necklace is beautifully made of the highest quality. The chain measures approx 32\" long with the pendant measuring approx 5 3/8\" x 2 1/4\". The piece is in absolutely beautiful condition and looks as though it was rarely worn.
