This necklace is well made with a substantial weight and feel to both the setting and the crystals. This piece is unique for the full size of the crystals and the beautiful aquamarine color. The crystals are thick and sit in an open setting and are faceted on both sides, a soft dome at the front and a point at the back for the maximum amount of light and refraction. There is one crystal that has a significant chip which you can see in one of the photos. There are a few more smaller chips to the crystals however they are all extremely fresh looking with smooth surfaces that gleam and crisp faceting. There are no signs of repair to the setting and it is quality made with a look that is very much like sterling. Overall this is a vibrant and sparkling, Aquamarine openback crystal necklace, that is from the 1920’s - 30’s that is in very good condition.
