Up for sale is a solid example of the German WW2 Gusstahl Puma boot knife, made in the German steel manufacturing mecca of Solingen. The blade is tight with no looseness and has no rust or oxidation; the edge is razor sharp and nick free but does exhibit some scuffing on each side due to sharpening. The red bakelite grips are in excellent condition with no looseness and no cracks or nicks save for typical minor scuffs and scratches. The leather washer is intact and in great condition. The metal boot scabbard retains about 50% of it\'s original black paint and holds the knife nice and snug- the boot clip is tightly attached and intact.Overall a nice example of one of the more scarce and desirable of the German WW2 fighting knives!
