Good condition and guaranteed original WWI French Model 1914Remington Rolling Block bayonet, as issued with the 8mm Lebel riflesmanufactured in the USA. Bayonet has nice clear Remington address on the leftside blade fuller. Blade has original bright finish with some gray. Remainingmetal has mostly brown patina. Wood grips show some wear, a few scratches, anda couple of cracks. Lock button functions fine. Fitted in correct originalsteel scabbard that has leather belt loop. Remington M1914 scabbards are alsoidentical to the Winchester M1895, but have a screw at the throat rather than arivet. Scabbard has brown and gray patina with some pitting and some smalldings. Leather is pliable with some wear, stitching is tight. A scarce FrenchM1914 Remington Rolling Block bayonet that will make a fine addition to yourcollection.
