Very good condition and guaranteed original WWI US ArmyModel 1913 Patton Cavalry Saber. Clearly marked “SA” on the left side of theblade for production by Springfield Armory, and dated 1913 with a flaming bombproof mark. Right side of blade is marked “US” with a serial number. 35 ½”blade has nice original bright finish. Remaining metal finish is mostly brown.Checkered black plastic grips have a good tight fit and no damage. Fitted incorrect original canvas covered scabbard that has steel throat and drag. Showssome normal wear, no damage. One of the throat rivets is absent. A hard to findfirst year production Model 1913 Patton saber that will make an excellentaddition to your collection.
