Very good condition and guaranteed original WWI US ArmyModel 1913 Patton cavalry saber. Maker marked “L.F. & C.” on the left sideof the blade and dated 1918 with a flaming bomb. Right side of blade is marked“U.S.” with a flaming bomb proof mark. 35 ½” blade has nice original brightfinish. Edge has a few nicks and dings. Remaining metal finish is originalblack showing some normal wear. Checkered plastic grips have a good tight fitand no damage. Fitted in correct original canvas covered scabbard that hassteel throat and tip. Canvas has nice original green paint. A classic Model1913 Patton cavalry saber that will make an excellent addition to yourcollection.
