Good plus condition and guaranteed original WWI US militaryModel 1917 bolo knife. Marked “U.S. MOD. 1917” on the right side blade ricasso.Maker marked “PLUMB PHILA. 1918” on the left side ricasso. Blade has brightfinish and was heavily polished at some point. Remaining metal finish is brownand gray. Wood grips have original finish and a good tight fit. Right side hasa crack by the pommel. Fitted in correct original canvas covered sheath thathas leather tip. Canvas shows some normal wear and staining. Leather shows somewear and has tight stitching. Maker marked “A.-K. CO.” and dated 1918 with“R.H.S.” inspector initials. A classic WWI Doughboy bolo knife that will make anice addition to your collection.
