Excellant condition mid 1930\'s issue NSKK dagger manufactured by, \"WILHELM KOBER & CO, SUHL\". Nickle ornamentation.  \"Th\", marked guard is for Thuringen district. Original brown anodized scabbard has a tiny bit of surface rust. In 1936 the order came down that NSKK, (logistics or transportation troops) were to differentiate their daggers from SA daggers by wearing black scabbards. After the orders were communicated, NSKK scabbards were repainted black. These guys were not rich and in most cases this was a backyard quality job right over the brown anodized finish. NSKK daggers issued after the 1936 order were factory painted black. A black painted scabbard is the only difference between an SA dagger and NSKK dagger. A small amount of black paint remains. Hanger spring works perfectly. Dagger is very tight fit, finish and unmolested. Blade is really clean and bright.  13,3/4\" overall with out scabbard. Grips are super nice.
