Printers - All for a reasonable price…Still Loving your OKI? - But recently you’re seeing vertical light / white lines along the path of the print direction? This is often the fault of the LED print heads. If cleaning your LED printing heads doesn’t clear the problem … One or more of these should fix it! - At a more than affordable price! These all came out of our fully functional C5200N Okidata printer - I know - I know you’re telling me that they’re not all the same color! - AND FYI the black one is actually the newest one - as it came as I fixed the same problem with our printer - a bit backThese LED printer heads are Easy to Install - Just open your printer and grabbing the 1st LED head firmly push gently away from the closer holding bracket - while gently lifting the bottom spring loaded edge at the close end of the bar. When free of the holder - making sure the 2 hold down springs on either side stay in place - gently remove the unit’s printer cable. To install reverse the above procedure - holding the LED bar firmly - gently replace the unit’s printer cable Straight into the replacement LED head until it is firmly in place - Make sure to place the 2 loading springs over their centering posts - before you slip one end of the LED head assembly into the far side of the holding bracket - (with the 2 hold down springs in place) - and while slightly pushing the LED head against the far edge’s holding bracket to make room - slip in the close end into its holding bracket - AND Voilà - no more white lines from that head!
