The Apple Power Macintosh G3 (B&W) led a revolutionary turning point in Apple computers. This machine is in excellent collector-grade condition with no yellowing and minimal to zero cracking. It is the perfect item for display. The system features the PowerPC G3 at 350 MHz, sitting next to 128mb of RAM, which is plenty for the MacOS 9.2.2 operating system that comes preinstalled. With 40 GB of storage, running at a high speed of 7200 rpm, you can save and load many files and vintage Mac games without worry. The nostalgic display is powered by the ATI Rage 128 graphics card. The machine also includes an Adaptec AHA-2930CU Ultra SCSI PCI Card. This can be used to connect SCSI peripherals and deliver at high speeds. To highlight the specialty of this machine, it includes an Apple original DVD-RAM drive with PD technology. This optical drive was rare in G3 machines that mainly came with a standard CD-ROM drive. The drive natively runs with MacOS 9 and is reverse compatible with CD. Because of the condition of this specific machine, it is highly sought after. No yellowing is present anywhere, and only minor cracks near screw holes. To protect the machine, three of the four handles ship removed, requiring re assembly. This ensures that the handles do not break during shipping, ruining the condition it is in. Shipped by FedEx or UPS Ground for the best value and safety. Due to the vintage state of the components, the item is not accepting returns; however, the machine is tested before shipping to ensure it receives power and boots into the OS.
