Excellent Apple iMac A1418 / EMC 2544 Late 2012 parts, repair or rebuild machine with a very useful known history.
This was a working iMac before the screen was physically broken.
The computer was opened after the screen damage so the customer's storage drive could be removed and the data transferred. The customer ultimately decided not to proceed with replacing the damaged screen, so the machine was left in its present condition.
The hard drive was removed for the data transfer and is NOT included.
The damaged LCD/display assembly is NOT included.
Importantly, the original RAM was left installed and IS INCLUDED.
⭐ KNOWN-WORKING MACHINE BEFORE SCREEN DAMAGE
This was not brought in as an unknown dead computer.
The iMac was operational prior to the physical screen damage. It was subsequently opened for the data-recovery work described above.
Because it is now incomplete and has not been reassembled with another display and storage drive for current testing, it is conservatively being sold as FOR PARTS OR NOT WORKING.

The original memory remains installed in the machine.

That matches Apple's standard factory configuration for the Late-2012 21.5-inch iMac. This platform could originally be configured with up to 16GB.

As the actual internal photographs show, this isn't merely an empty aluminum shell.
The sale includes the logic board, original 8GB RAM, internal power supply, cooling fan/system, speakers, Wi-Fi hardware/antennas, internal wiring/cabling, camera hardware/cabling, aluminum rear housing, stand and other components shown in the photographs.
The Apple power cord is also included.
That makes this an attractive donor for somebody repairing another A1418 or an experienced technician who wants to rebuild this particular machine.

When complete, this generation used a 21.5-inch 1920 × 1080 IPS display and quad-core Intel processors with dedicated NVIDIA GeForce graphics. Depending on configuration, EMC 2544 was offered with 2.7GHz or 2.9GHz Core i5 processors, with a 3.1GHz Core i7 available as an option.
We have not verified the exact processor/GPU configuration in this particular machine, so we are intentionally not guessing.
🔌 EXCELLENT CONNECTIVITY
The rear I/O remains present and includes four USB 3.0 ports, two Thunderbolt ports, Gigabit Ethernet, SDXC card slot and headphone/audio output. The platform also included Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FaceTime HD camera and stereo speakers.

The history is what separates this one from many unknown-condition iMac donors.
Working computer → screen physically broken → opened for data recovery → storage drive removed → customer declined screen repair.
The machine wasn't disassembled because the logic board or power supply had failed.
However, because the computer has subsequently been opened and has not been rebuilt and retested, current operation of individual components is not guaranteed.
