This router works well as it was my personal router and was in use up until today when I upgraded and has always been a very reliable router. It has 2 bands 2.4 and 5 GHz and has quite good range. This router has been factory reset, to access the router setup connect the router to a power supply, connect your computer or cellphone or tablet via either the cisco wifi signal or through an Ethernet cord to one of the 4 connections, pull up a browser on your device and type in 192.168.1.1 in the address bar, when the page comes up for a username and password both are set for admin as default ( I would recommend changing that in the settings for security) that will bring you to the setup page to set your wifi ssid and passwords, your choice of security settings , admin names and password and more.
