Could I have installed an SSD? Absolutely. Would that have been as interesting? Absolutely not. Therefore, what we have here is a much more fun computer. The underlying hardware is quite capable as it is based on a brand new HP Slim Desktop 260-p026 with 8GB of DDR4 RAM and a 6th generation Core i3-6100T processor.

Intel HD Graphics 530 with VGA and HDMI out. 2x USB-3 ports and 4x USB 2.0 ports. Ethernet, optical drive and front panel card reader and headphone jack. Built-in WiFi.

This computer is brand new. I’ve opened it specifically to modify it for use with the Raptor X. The original 1TB HDD is still in the system, you’re welcome to remove it or leave it there as-is.

I can include Windows 10 on the system for you with MS Office 2010 or just leave the drive blank for you. Just let me know in advance.
