Used enterprise rack server, a budget-friendly way to start homelabbing. It has an Intel Xeon 5130 dual-core processor, 9GB of DDR2 RAM, and dual power supplies. Good for experimenting with file sharing, DNS/ad-blocking, a small web server, or Linux and networking practice.
This is older hardware, so don't expect modern speeds or efficiency. It's loud and power-hungry compared to current gear, but it's a cheap way to learn server management and virtualization basics, and the dual power supplies are a nice bonus for learning redundancy.
Both units boot to BIOS. No RAID controller, drives, or rails are included, so you'll need to supply your own storage and mounting hardware. Sold as-is, pre-owned, with normal signs of wear. See photos for condition.
