TheGBM-7000-S85 is a multi-mode short haul (SX) Gigabit Ethernet GBIC type optical module with 1.25G data rate and SC optical connector. The GBIC is programmed for Cisco compatibility.
It operates as 1000Base-SX standard, covering a range of 550m over multi-mode 50/125um fiber or up to 300m over multi-mode 62.5/125um fiber circuit. It can be used in any modern Ethernet switch equipped with GBIC slots. The opticalmodule has been tested and found 100% compatible with various Ethernetswitches from major manufacturers like: Cisco, Nortel, Extreme, ZyXEL,D-Link or Netgear.Technical Specifications:
