HPE’s QSFP-40GE-LR4 is a high performance and cost-effective QSFP+ LR4 transceiver designed for 40 Gigabit Ethernet (40GbE) applications. The 40GBase-LR4 QSFP+ transceiver complies with QSFP+ MSA and IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE-LR4 specifications. The 40GBase-LR4 QSFP+ transceiver converts 4 inputs channel of 10.3125Gb/s electrical data to 4 CWDM optical signals, and multiplexes them into a single channel for 40Gb/s optical transmission. On the receiver side, the transceiver optically de-multiplexes a 40Gb/s input into 4 CWDM channels signals and converts them to 4 channel output electrical data. The centre wavelengths of the 4 CWDM channels are 1271, 1291, 1311 and 1331 nm. The 40GBase-LR4 QSFP+ transceiver contains a LC Duplex connector for the optical interface and a 38-pin connector for the electrical interface.

The QSFP-40G-LR4-HPE QSFP+ optics is programmed and tested to be compatible with HPEdata centre switches, routers, NICs and other optical transport devices for 40G Ethernet and high-performance computing networks. It is an ideal equivalent to HPE JG661A QSFP+ optics module at a much lower price, which provides a reliable compatible 40G QSFP+ optics solution for system integrator, distributors and ends users in data centre networking infrastructure.

• Products found to be physically damaged by customer or during return transit due to inadequate/unprotected packaging (returned items should be shipped in protective packing similar as when shipped to Customer), warranty will be voided and cannot be exchanged or refunded.
• All returned items will be tested upon arrival and will attract a handling fee of $20 plus return postage to customer if found to be in correct working condition.

30 Days Change of Mind Returns

• The item must be returned to us within 30 days of delivery in original undamaged packaging.
• The item must be factory sealed and unused, or at the same condition as it was delivered, in order to be approved for a full refund.
• If the item has been opened, a restocking fee of 20% may apply, as the goods are no longer considered brand new.
• In the event that the product has been used, the restocking fee charged may be up to 50%.
• Any delivery or insurance costs incurred are not refundable.
