The core components of this machine function properly, but it requires a few parts to be a complete system and has a specific hardware fault regarding the audio.What Works (The Good):
Motherboard & CPU: The Intel Core i7-8665U processor and motherboard boot and POST without issue.
Display Panel: The 14-inch screen glass is 100% fully functional with zero cracks in the LCD matrix or the glass itself.
Inputs & Connectivity: The keyboard, trackpad, pointing stick, webcam, Intel Wi-Fi card (AX200NGW), USB ports, and charging circuit have all been tested and function normally.Known Hardware & Cosmetic Flaws:
No Audio / Sound: The built-in speakers/audio do not output any sound. This machine is best suited for use with Bluetooth headphones, an external USB audio dongle, or a desktop docking station.Chipped Screen Bezel: The plastic frame on the top-right corner of the display bezel is chipped and broken off. The underlying display glass remains completely undamaged.Screen Pressure Marks: There are noticeable horizontal keyboard pressure rub marks across the middle of the display screen from normal lid closure. These are visible when the screen is powered off, but the display functions properly when turned on.Cosmetic Wear: The laptop is missing the two bottom rubber feet strips. There is also noticeable adhesive sticker residue on the bottom casing and on the right side of the palmrest.What Is Included:
