Up for sale is a highly collectible piece of early computing history: an originalApple Macintosh Hard Disk 20 (Model M0135). Released in late 1985, this was Apple's very first dedicated external hard drive engineered to sit directly underneath a compact Mac, connecting natively to the computer's external floppy port. The front panel features a solid faceplate layout with a built-in red activity LED light sitting directly above the classic rainbow Apple logo. The rear panel includes an integrated power supply with a toggle switch, an attached hardwired system cord, and a female pass-through floppy port to allow daisy-chaining an external 3.5" disk drive. The bottom casing retains its complete original labels, crisp text molding, serial barcode sticker, and allfour factory rubber feet.An incredible addition for any retro Mac collector wanting to build a period-correct, zero-SCSI storage stack for an original 512K or Macintosh Plus system!Condition Notes:

• Power Status:Tested & Powers On Successfully. The internal power supply initiates smoothly when toggled. Please note: No further tests have been performed as I lack the specific boot disks or vintage Mac system required to initialize read/write health on the internal 20MB platters.
• Cosmetics:The housing features typical, uniform age-related yellowing and a classic vintage plastic patina. Light surface scuffs are present from storage, but the frame is structurally sound with no deep cracks.
• Cables & Ports:The hardwired DB-19 cable insulation is continuous and flexible. The rear pass-through pins and standard AC adapter terminal are clean and secure.
