Factory sealed copy of Microsoft PhotoDraw 2000 – Version 1, English edition, with rare alternate cover art. This is one of the earliest and most limited printings of PhotoDraw 2000, available on shelves for only 8 months before being replaced by Version 2.

Edition Details:

• Version 1, July 1998 (0798)

• Part Number: X03‑72963

• Platform: Windows 95 / 98 / NT

• Factory sealed, pristine condition

Rarity / Provenance:

• English alternate cover: only 2 known copies exist — both in my possession; one is listed here.

• Only 3 publicly known photos of V1 exist, all sourced from a German archive

• Alternate cover art credited on back: "Photograph of Denali National Park ©1998 Allen Prier/Panoramic Images, Chicago. All Rights Reserved."

• Sticker on front: "Charitable Donation of the Microsoft Corporation, Not for Commercial Resale"

Why This Is Significant:

• Contains a bonus program and additional templates not present in PhotoDraw 2000 V2

• This content has never been archived anywhere online — not on Internet Archive, WinWorld, or any known database

• May be the only surviving sealed copy with unarchived software content intact

Collector Notes:

• Perfect for collectors, museums, archivists, and retro software enthusiasts

• Factory sealed; never opened or used

• Historic piece of Microsoft graphics software

Backstory / Discovery:

Discovered sealed in a back closet at the old Marion Elementary School in Marion, Oregon. Never opened or used.

Shipping & Sale Notes:

• International shipping available

• Sold as-is, no returns due to collectible nature

This is an exceptionally rare opportunity to own a sealed Version 1 English edition with alternate cover and unarchived content — likely the only documented copy of its kind in existence.
