Clean laboratory pull from retired Ion Geophysical equipment. This is a "Bare Drive" (no front plastic faceplate), designed for mounting behind a chassis door. Note on internal flap: The thin metal internal door is slightly unseated in one corner; it appears easily correctable with a small tool and does not seem to impact the core drive mechanism. Untested and sold as-is for parts, repair, or retro-computing projects. Includes original mounting bracket and screws as shown.

This is a high-density (1.44MB) internal floppy drive pulled from a controlled, clean-room laboratory environment (Ion Geophysical). It features a standard 34-pin interface and 5V power requirement.

Important Physical Notes:

• Configuration: This unit does not include an external plastic bezel/button. It is the internal "bare" version used in Compaq and industrial systems where the computer case has its own flap.

• Internal Flap: The thin dust flap at the mouth of the drive is slightly misaligned in one corner. It remains attached and should be a simple repair for a hobbyist.
