Offered here is a vintage 1997 The Learning Company “The American Girls Premiere” Special Edition Collector’s Set, presented in its original decorative metal tin.
This collectible set remains new and factory sealed in the original shrink wrap. It was produced in association with Pleasant Company and features the original American Girls characters Felicity, Kirsten, Addy, Samantha and Molly.
The American Girls Premiere software allowed users to create and produce original plays featuring the American Girls. Players could select characters and scenes, add historically accurate props, create dialogue and develop their own American Girls stories.
The original set includes:
- Two American Girls Premiere CD-ROMs
- Companion book
- Original inserts and materials
- Decorative Special Edition Collector’s tin
The packaging also originally advertised membership in the American Girls Club. Any membership offer, registration service or promotional benefit should be considered expired and is not guaranteed to remain usable.
Compatibility
The packaging identifies the software as compatible with vintage Windows and Macintosh computers. Because this software was released in 1997, it may not operate directly on modern computers without older compatible hardware, a virtual machine or operating-system emulation.
Buyer is responsible for confirming compatibility before purchase.
CONDITION
New old stock in the original factory-sealed shrink wrap.
The shrink wrap remains present and the tin has never been opened. The outer wrap shows light wrinkles and normal storage wear. The paper sleeve and tin may have minor edge or corner wear beneath the wrap consistent with long-term storage.
Because the set remains sealed, the CD-ROMs, book and interior contents have not been removed, inspected or tested.
Please review all photographs closely for the exact condition of the sealed packaging.
Measurements
Please refer to the photographs for scale and overall package dimensions.
