I am selling 3 RTX 3090s that are functional but have fan/cooling issues. This listing is for a Zotac RTX 3090 that the RGB does not work and the right-most fan spins at 100% all the time. The other fans work normally. The temperature sensors read 80C for the core, 100+ for the hotspot, and 80-85 for the VRAM under FULL LOAD but the card is cool to the touch when running Furmark. This makes me think that the sensors are malfunctioning rather than the cooling solution of the card.
The idle temperatures are normal, around 35C core, 50-55C VRAM (A little high in my opinion), and 30-35C VRAM.The card always displays and does not have connection issues. It does not have any core functionality issues. If the cooler is replaced this will most likely fix the issue, but I am not an expert. If you know how to ignore the sensors this will probably let the card run without fake thermal throttling. Please let me know if you'd like to see any tests or pictures of the card.
Overall, the card works but has cooler, temperature sensor issues that triggers the software to believe that the card is overheating. Core functionality or very light AI work should be fine, but still, I am selling this card AS-IS for parts or repair.
