Overview

The FS QSFP-SR4-40G is a 40 Gigabit Ethernet QSFP+ transceiver built for short-reach, high-density connections in data centers, campus networks, cloud deployments, and high-performance computing environments. Using a 12-fiber MTP/MPO male connector, it supports link distances up to 150m over OM4 multimode fiber (100m over OM3) at an 850nm wavelength, fully compliant with the IEEE 802.3 40GBASE-SR4 standard. Digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM/DOM) via the I2C interface provides real-time access to operating parameters such as temperature, voltage, and optical power. Hot-swappable and easy to install, this transceiver is a cost-effective way to deploy 40G links between switches, routers, servers, and transport equipment. Note: this module does not support 4x10G breakout connectivity. This unit is brand new and factory sealed.
