This is an AMD Am486 CPU rated at 100MHz (33MHz FSB), designed for use in a Socket 3 motherboard supporting 3.3V CPUs. This CPU was tested in a late PCI 486 system, but failed to boot. No POST codes were displayed on my diagnostic card at all. Therefore, this is being sold for parts - or repair, if at all possible, but highly improbable.This CPU will be attached to some foam to protect the pins, and it will be packed in an ESD bag wrapped in bubble wrap.
