Step 1: Verify Compatibility – Check that your Hikvision recorder model is listed in the compatible models above.

Step 2: Power Down – Turn off your Hikvision recorder and disconnect the power cord.

Step 3: Connect to Recorder – Plug the 4-pin male end of the adapter cable into the corresponding 4-pin power port on your Hikvision recorder. The connector is keyed to fit only one way – do not force it.

Step 4: Connect to Hard Drive – Plug the SATA 15-pin female end into your hard drive‘s power port.
