This is an original Apple /// 256K computer model A3S1-018415

• Original Apple Computer inventory label affixed.
• Memory upgraded to 256K board.
  
• Includes power cord and all rubber feet on bottom.
• There is no clock chip installed.
  
• "#2" and some text is written on the original drive shield (this was likely done by Apple).
• The monitor and testing software pictured was used for testing and is NOT included.

IMPORTANT: The Power Supply Unit (PSU) is original and unmodified and has the ORIGINAL RIFA Filter Capacitors installed. Although they've been resilient for testing these capacitors MUST BE replaced since they WILL burn-out. The buyer must accept that any prolonged use will cause "magic smoke".
Functionality:

This computer was tested using Apple's Dealer Diagnostics software (not included), note:

• The Video, Sound, RAM, Keyboard and ROM tests were all successful.
• All keyboard keys work, I didn't notice any issues but there may be some hesitance on occasion.
• The diskette drive reads disks without issue but writing to disks was NOT tested.
• The is no clock IC present so that was NOT computer is very clean and in very nice condition, note:
  • The case, chassisand keyboard bezel are in good condition with some normal yellowing and a few minor marks that can be seen in the photos.
  • The power supply, motherboard, memory board, diskette drive, keyboard, contacts, connectors and all ICs are in excellent unblemished condition.
  • There is some oxidization on the PSU sled and one spot on the motherboard pan (see photos). No oxidization was detected internally.

  I cannot warranty past delivery given this is a vintage computer but I will pack it well. Overall a very nice operating Apple III previously owned by Apple Computer.Let me know if you have any questions.
