Listing is for a ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Hero Intel LGA 1700 DDR5 motherboard, in retail box with some accessories, packaging & documentation (see images).

This motherboard has been tested and passed wonderfully with the exception of the top PCIe slot which appears to have physical damage (see images). All the other PCIe slots, including the second PCIe 5.0 x16 slot & iGPU output, work fine.

Luckily, the 2nd PCIe 5.0 slot is identical to the top PCIe 5.0 slot and runs at Gen 5.0 x16 speed. That means it can be used in place of the top slot without any performance issue. So this board will work seamlessly for most people by using PCIe slot #2. Only people that need to use two GPUs or all three PCIe slots will run into an issue. Still, do your own research and don't take my word for it but I did include some research results in the image gallery.

Although there appears to possibly be bent or broken pin(s) in the socket (see images), these seem to be purely cosmetic as I didn't run into any other issues when testing things like Dual Channel RAM configs, PCIe slots, M.2 slots, USB slots etc. All work fine with the 1 exception noted above.

So if you want a Z790 Maximus Hero board and you plan to use only one GPU, like most people, this board is a steal since it is discounted for the issues noted above.
