Cisco CP-3905 Unified SIP Phone 3905 - Single-Line VoIP, Speakerphone, Dual-Port PoE, Charcoal - Tested & Works Great, Individually Boxed The Cisco CP-3905 Unified SIP Phone 3905 is a cost-effective, entry-level single-line SIP IP phone built for cubicles, retail counters, classrooms, manufacturing floors, hallways, and wall-mounted deployments. It pairs a full-duplex speakerphone with a 128 x 32-pixel monochrome two-line display and dedicated fixed keys for redial, transfer, hold/resume, and mute. A built-in 10/100BASE-T dual-port Ethernet switch shares one network drop between the phone and a desktop PC to simplify cabling. Powered by IEEE 802.3af PoE Class 1 or an optional CP-3905-PWR power adapter (sold separately). Cisco officially supports the CP-3905 on Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) 7.1(5) or later with a compatible SIP firmware load — third-party call-control systems are not supported by Cisco. Cisco CP-3905 - Key Features & Benefits - Single-Line SIP IP Phone for Entry-Level Voice: Designed for basic business voice deployments, the CP-3905 is a single-line phone running SIP — ideal for cubicles, retail, classrooms, hallways, and break rooms where a streamlined desk phone is enough
- Two-Line Monochrome Display with Navigation: A graphical 128 x 32-pixel monochrome display shows two lines of scrollable information for caller ID, menus, and call status, paired with a two-way navigation button and dedicated keys for Redial, Transfer, and Hold/Resume
- Full-Duplex Speakerphone & Standard Handset: Built-in full-duplex speakerphone for hands-free calling plus a standard handset, with a volume toggle that adjusts handset, speaker, and ringer levels independently
- Dual-Port 10/100 Ethernet Switch — Shared Cable Run: Two RJ-45 10/100BASE-T ports — one LAN, one switched PC pass-through — let the phone and a desktop computer share a single network drop, reducing cabling and infrastructure costs at the desk
- PoE 802.3af Class 1 or Local Power: Powers via IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (Class 1) from a PoE switch or injector, or via the CP-3905-PWR regional power adapter (4.2V DC, 1.5A; sold separately) for non-PoE installations
- Wall-Mountable with Foldable Stand: A foldable single-position foot stand sets the optimal viewing angle on a desk, then folds flat for wall mounting using mounting holes on the base — useful for hallway phones, lobbies, and warehouse floors
- Standard Cisco UC Call Features: Supports Call Forward, Call Pickup, Call Waiting, Call Transfer, Conference, Shared Line, Music on Hold, Message Waiting Indicator (MWI), Forced Authorization Codes (FAC), and Private-Line Automatic Ringdown (PLAR) when registered to Cisco Unified Communications Manager

Cisco CP-3905 - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) - What call control system does this phone work with?
Cisco officially supports the CP-3905 on Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) 7.1(5) as the minimum supported version, plus later CUCM releases (subject to phone firmware compatibility), and on supported releases of CUCM Business Edition 3000 / 5000 / 6000 — with appropriate User Connect Licensing (UCL). Per Cisco, the phone is not supported on third-party call-control systems such as Asterisk, FreePBX, 3CX, or generic SIP providers; any use outside CUCM is unsupported by Cisco. - How is the phone powered — do I need to buy anything else?
The phone draws power from IEEE 802.3af PoE Class 1 over the LAN cable when connected to a PoE-capable switch or injector. If you do not have PoE, you will need a Cisco CP-3905-PWR regional power adapter (4.2V DC, 1.5A), which is sold separately. - What does “Like New” condition mean for this phone?
The unit is in excellent cosmetic condition with little to no signs of use and has been fully tested for functionality. It comes individually boxed with the standard handset, an Ethernet patch cable, and a curly handset cord; a power adapter is not included (use PoE or a separately purchased CP-3905-PWR).
