🍮 Switches: HMX Caramel Pudding Linear
The HMX Caramel Pudding is a linear switch built around a new material experiment: a modified UPE stem that’s more durable and less brittle than traditional UPE. While not as deep as classic “thocky” switches, they provide a smooth, creamy, and balanced sound profile that’s especially enjoyable for long typing or gaming sessions.
- Switch Type: Linear
- Stem: Modified UPE
- Top Housing: PA12 • Bottom Housing: PA66
- Operating Force: 45g • Bottom-out Force: 52g
- Pre-travel: 2.0mm • Total Travel: 3.6mm
- Spring: 22mm single-stage
- Factory lubed: Yes – mixed GPL105 & GPL205 + dry film spring lube
These switches strike a balance between refined smoothness and a subtle “pudding-like” acoustic character—a unique addition to the HMX lineup.
