It will support your laptop's weight perfectly and can be carried around safely thanks to its robust design. The KLIM Ultimate can even resist shocks and falls thanks to its metal grid panel, built with the highest quality materials you can find at this cost. Since then we have developed a strong expertise in this very precise product and are able to confidently bring affordable yet effective and long-lasting products to the market. We wanted to provide a true RGB cooling pad for gamers that you could customize, without neglecting the cooling part: the KLIM Ultimate was born.
I do need to point out, that if you are running OBS Studio and modern intensive gaming all at max settings on a laptop, when you get to the 6-8 hour mark, no laptop cooler on the planet can can help you. That's unfortunately a limitation of all gaming laptops even with coolers like this. Because I used OBS Studio for and intensive long gaming all at once, for 6-8 hours at a time, I could not remove the accumulated heat fast enough under those conditions. No laptop cooler can. I had to migrate to a custom built gaming desktop for what I was doing. If you are not running OBS on the same laptop as your gaming, you shouldn't have any issues, and if you don't game for 6+ hours, like I do, you shouldn't have any issues. This is a disclaimer, I don't want you to buy this, thinking it magically removes heat under intensive loads at long gameplay. It does cool and it does work, but know the limitations of laptops in general, even the most intensive gaming laptops can't force hot air out, even with a cooler, under extreme intensive use at long hours, so keep that in mind. You may run into the same issue I did and just have to switch to a desktop for your gaming, like I had to.
