🔎 How to find the model of your laptop
Method 1Steps:1. Locate the Laptop LabelCheck the model or serial number (S/N) on the laptop's sticker.2. Identify the Battery Part Number
- For HP laptops with removable 18650 batteries:Power off the laptop, unplug the power adapter, and flip the device over. Locate the battery latch (usually 1–2 latches), unlock it, and remove the battery. Check the white/silver label on the battery surface for the following markings: Part Number / P/N / Spare Part No.
- Common formats:L56440-800, HT03XL, 826733-001, HSTNN-LB6M
- (Note: "HSTNN" is the model series; "P/N" is the procurement number. Both are valid for matching.)
- For HP laptops with internal Polymer batteries:Remove the back cover screws to access the internal battery. Look for the printed code on the battery labeled Part Number / P/N / Spare Part No.
- Common formats:L56440-800, HT03XL, 826733-001, HSTNN-LB6M
3. System Query via Command Prompt
- Press Win + R to open the Run dialog box. Type cmdand press Enter.
- Copy and paste the following command, then press Enter:wmic path Win32_Battery get Name, DeviceID, PartNumber
- The result displayed under PartNumber is the battery's part number.
- Note: On some models, this may be displayed as "Model". This is also acceptable.
Method 2Steps:Go to HP Parts Search Website(see image below ), enter your laptop's Product Name or Serial Number (s/n), and click through to view the Part Number (P/N).
Install A New Battery:
1. You need to turn off your laptop and disconnect the power.
2. Remove the old battery, carefully install the new battery on the battery case, and connect the wiring of the new battery.

Laptop Maintenance Tips:
1. New battery: For use a new battery, you’d better try a few cycles of discharging to 5%. then charging up to 95%. So that it can be activated completely
2. Overuse: Do not always run out of a battery to 0%, this would make it damaged or usage life shortened
3. Charging sequence: when charging, first install the battery, then turn on the power, when fully charged, first cut off the power, then pull the power plug.
4. Long-term storage:Please store the unused battery fully charged.(Charge it once a month) Do not store at low power to prevent reduce the lifespan of a battery
5. Charger: Do not replace the laptop adapter casually. If the original adapter cannot be applied due to malfunction or damage, please replace the models, so as not to reduce the service life of the battery due to incompatibility.
