The windows is NOT logged in to a proper Microsoft account. To resolve this, you will want to reset Windows and log into your own account. The temporary account was set up for display and demonstrational purposes only and is not meant to serve as a permenant account.LIFE EXPECTANCY & KNOWN ISSUESThis machine is relatively old, but despite that, this machine is still going strong and working quickly. Windows 10 is no longer supported and this machine cannot upgrade to Windows 11 due to the processor. It isn't a speed issue so much as it is a compatability issue. Advice is to move to Linux or use extended Windows 10 with a strong anti virus and enroll in the extended life program for Windows 10 if still available. Ubuntu is the closest Linux operating system to windows that most people can become more comfortable with as beginners. It is 100% free to use and install. You may also choose to dual boot and enjoy both Windows and Linux, however, it is typically best to just stick with one.I do not know how long this computer has left, but I do not suspect that it is near the end of its life either. I estimate 2 years.The hard drive area just to the left hand side of the track pad is pressure sensitive and always has been. If you rest your hand here, the pressure can cause the machine to fail.I advise getting an external hard drive or buying a new one with more space to get things done. 250 GB isnt enough to do everything it is capable of. I would seek a large hard drive if you are going to do video editing, design, gaming, and/or programming.There are currently no other known issues with the machine.
