According to the original Logica Research documentation, this P/N 0200 version installs directly in:
- Macintosh IIci
- Macintosh IIvi
- Macintosh IIvx
- Macintosh Performa 600
It can also be used with the appropriate Logica accelerator adapter in:
- Macintosh SE/30
- Macintosh II
- Macintosh IIx
- Macintosh IIcx
- Macintosh IIsi
The LogiCache is historically significant because this design was later associated with DiiMO Technologies and evolved into the DiiMO Cache 030, which was subsequently sold by MicroMac as the DiiMO 030. The later DiiMO products retained the same basic concept: a 50MHz 68030, 64KB high-speed cache and optional 50MHz 68882 FPU.
The original Logica literature advertises performance increases of up to approximately 350%, depending on the Macintosh and application.
Included are the original Logica Research product literature and the original LogiCache Accelerator CDEV V2.0 software floppy shown in the photos.
The accelerator is in very good physical condition overall, with clean PCB surfaces, components and connector.
This accelerator has been tested in a Macintosh IIci.
