With 8 individually controllable fan channels and 54 watts total output available for all connected fans from a SATA power connector, this provides maximum control over your computer's fans.
Most fan "controllers' are actually splitters, that take fanspeed signal from one PWM cable, and duplicate that out to all the connected fans, leaving you with minimal control over the fan configuration as when you change the speed for that one fan, it changes the speed for all of them.
This device is compatible with FanControl, the free software available for system cooling control, allowing you to avoid using Razer's software, Razer's software traditionally is the primary complaint people have with this this specific controller. With Fancontrol it's like having 8 extra 4pin motherboard fan headers and no drama.
