BRAND NEW - RARE FIND - Pioneer doesn't make these any longer and this is like buying it new!
This is an IDE drive. I no longer have Macs that use IDE drives so if you are rebuilding one (G4 G5 etc) or the earlier PC's this would be a Perfect fit for you.
Works with all EIDE/IDE and PATA interfaces!
This was the drive that many replaced the Apple "Superdrive" with back in the day! Has the upgraded "Labelflash" tech that would inscribe onto specific media for you... not sure that caught on or where to even buy this media now but the tech is here for that if you use it.
You never see these BRAND NEW like this - if you find the 118L at all that is! - even hard to find them in good used condition let alone NEW!
This is I guesstechnically"open box" since the label/seal was broken but that was to show you the unit - As you can see, the original manual booklet is even included and never opened... Because it was never installed or used at all, Im listing it as NEW!
Please ask ALL questions before you buy! - thanks
