Attach each drive to its compatible caddy using the caddy’s matching hardware. Slide the caddy into its bay and check that the handle closes, retains and releases it without force. Use all four rack mounting positions. Leave space behind the mount for connectors and cable bends, and support cable bundles separately. Disconnect rear cables before removing a caddy.This is a mechanical holder, not an electrical hot-swap enclosure. No backplane, fixed connectors or electronics are supplied. SAS/SATA describes the compatible carrier style; use drives, controller and cables that are electrically compatible with each other. Keep ventilation clear and provide airflow suitable for the installed drives. For 10-inch racks, not 19-inch rack spacing.Small layer lines and surface variations are normal with 3D-printed parts.
