Selling a Synology DiskStation DS723+ 2-Bay NAS in excellent condition. Purchased in 2023 and working solidly since setup.
Unit is in the stock configuration with the on-board 8GB Synology ECC DDR4 memory (D4ES03-8G) installed. This installed memory was never used but rather was replaced with two 8GB units that were transferred to a new system. Memory module has been stored in a static protection bag in a dust-free container within a storage closet. Confirmed to be in working order. Module alone is worth $485 on retail sites.
Selling price reflects the inclusion of this valuable DDR4 memory module which is currently valued higher than the actual NAS container.
NAS was previously in service and functioning normally prior to the drives being removed and relocated to a 5-bay unit. It's been tested extensively and is now being sold diskless and is ready for new drives and configuration. Photos show unit plugged in and working with a blank disc, the memory slots empty and with installed 8GB module, several angles of the interior. Unit has been thoroughly cleaned of any remnant dust.
