Vintage Commodore C2N / VIC-1530 Datassette cassette unit, made in Japan, with its original retail box and fitted Styrofoam packaging.
This example is exceptionally clean and appears to have seen little if any use. The cassette compartment, controls, case, cord and connector all present extremely well. The edge connector is particularly clean with no obvious heavy insertion wear.
The unit is marked:
Commodore Datassette
C2N-B
Serial No. S 144376
FCC ID BR99VM C2N-B
Made in Japan
Original Commodore C2N Cassette Unit / VIC 1530 box and Styrofoam inserts are included.
I do not have the appropriate vintage Commodore computer available to test the unit, so it is being sold untested and operation is not guaranteed.
Condition
Open box / appears unused or very lightly handled. Exceptionally clean vintage condition with original box and Styrofoam packaging.
There are a few light cosmetic/storage marks, including shallow impressions on the plastic where the cord appears to have rested while stored in the box. The original box has normal shelf and age wear.
No functional testing has been performed.
