Working Vintage Digital Equipment Corp. DEC Rainbow PC100A includes the Graphics + Expansion Memory Cards. 1982
This DEC Rainbow 100 has both the graphics board and the extended memory option. It passes self test and starts up to the boot menu. I have no software to test if further. The front panel needs to be glued back on and one side of the top plastic case has minor damage as pictured. Rainbow's contain both Z80 and 8088 processors. These systems were so overbuilt. Can be disassembled without using tools.
Even by the standards of the early PC days, Rainbows were definitely something special. Can run 2 different operating systems CP/M and MS-DOS. In addition works as a plain VT100 terminal.
System only, monitor is not included, due to systems age and weight (about 30 lbs) being sold as is, no returns.
