Linksys PLEK400 Power-line Homeplug AV (Ethernet) Network Extender Kit
Includes two power-line adapters with a maximum LAN data rate of 200 Mbps each. These adapters provide a reliable wired Ethernet connection through house AC outlets and wiring. Effective this is a Ethernet extension cord over house wiring.

• What it does: You connect one adapter near your router and with a provided Ethernet cable. You connect the other adapter so a network device such as a computer or printer using the other provided Ethernet cable. You then plug the first into an outlet close to the router and the other adapter into an outlet close to the remote printer or computer. That's it.
• Ports:Each adapter has a single RJ-45 Ethernet port so the kit acts like a long virtual Ethernet cable.
• Speed:Rated around 200 Mbps the real-world long distance throughput can be much lower depending on the age and condition of the house wiring.
