These kits were purchased by a company that had a large number of Compaq Armada 7700 laptops. The kits originally had 2.5" hard drives included, but they decided to install the new hard drives and put the kits in storage. These kits are brand new only lacking the hard drive that was part of them.

According to the included documentation, these kits are compatible with the following hardware:

• Compaq Armada 7800 Family of Personal Computers (Color of MultiBay adapter will not match, but hardware will work)
• Compaq ArmadaStation
• Compaq Armada Ministation EX
• Compaq LTE Elite (Caddy compatible, MultiBay adapter NOT compatible)
• Compaq LTE 5000 Families of Personal Computers (Caddy compatible, MultiBay adapter NOT compatible)
